 По жанру это скорее фэнтези-стим панк. Завязка стандартая. Героя перебрасывает в параллельный мир населенный эльфами, магами и прочими волшебными тварями. Но мир этот не настолько сказочный, в нем вполне неплохо развивается наука и техника. Да и с самим главным героем не все в порядке
